April 9 is known as Araw ng Kagitingan, the day where all heroes in Philippine history are remembered and honored, and Matanglawin opens a treasure trove of facts, trivia, and adventures about our beloved heroes on Sunday (April 10) in their newest episode. Gracing Matanglawin as a first-time Adventurista is Kapamilya teen star Sue Ramirez who explores the old barracks and caves in Corregidor that have been turned into World War 2 museums. As the show celebrates the special day of heroes, Kuya Kim Atienza also tries to man the cannons of Corregidor as well as talk to the Marines guarding the statue of Jose Rizal as he tries to find out what makes a true hero.

Matanglawin, now on its 8th year, aims to educate kids and adults alike and explore the wonders of nature, technology, and general science as Kuya Kim explores every nook and cranny that he can reach for the sake of knowledge.
