Stars of the East and West collide this Monday (Feb 16) as ABS-CBN Sports+Action airs the 2015 NBA All-Star Game live from the Madison Square Garden in New York, 9:30 AM, with TJ Manotoc and Boom Gonzalez as anchors. 

Watch as LeBron James (CLE), John Wall (WAS), Kyle Lowry (TOR), Pau Gasol (CHI), and Carmelo Anthony (NYK) lead the East against a loaded West team that features Anthony Davis (NOP), Stephen Curry (GSW), Marc Gasol (MEM), Kevin Durant (OKC), and James Harden (HOU). All-Star starters for the West Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin and All-Star reserve for the East Dwyane Wade will sit out the bonanza as they nurse injuries. 

Debuting in their first All Star Games will be Klay Thompson (GSW) and DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) for the West. Cousins will be Bryant’ replacement.Meanwhile out East, the new faces include Jimmy Butler (CHI) who has been having a breakout season along with Kyle Lowry (TOR), Jeff Teage (ATL) and Kyle Korver (ATL), who will replace the injured Wade.

The 64th All-Star Game also marks the first time a team will send four All Stars to the game since 2011 when the Boston Celtics sent Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Atlanta will be sending Korver, Teague and forwards Paul Millsap and Al Horford to this year’ ASG. The aforementioned players have been instrumental to the success the Hawks have had this season that have seen them rack up a perfect January, going 17-0 in all the games they played.

Fans are also looking forward to see the brother act of the Gasols. Pau and Marc Gasol will be the first pair of siblings to start in an All Star Game. Older brother Pau has seen a resurgence in his career playing for the Chicago Bulls while Marc has metamorphosed into the Grizzlies’ main man and one of the best passing big men the league has ever seen.
