Last February 3, industry leaders from ABS – CBN_x000D_ Corporation, First Philippine Holdings (FPH) and the Technological Institute of_x000D_ the Philippines (TIP) gathered to participate in the ceremonious signing of the_x000D_ Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which was held at the Bolinao Room of 9501_x000D_ Restaurant.
The objective of the activity was to solidify the partnership of_x000D_ ABS – CBN and FPH with TIP through cooperation activities such as job fairs,_x000D_ internship programs, resource sharing, research and curriculum development._x000D_
The MOA signing was graced by our very own President and_x000D_ CEO, Mr. Carlo L. Katigbak and Executive Adviser to the Chairman, Chief Content_x000D_ Officer and President of ABS – CBN University, Ms. Charo Santos – Concio. They_x000D_ were joined by Mr. Mark Nepomuceno, Head of CSG 1, Mr. Philbert Berba, Head of_x000D_ HROD, Ms. Arlyn Fausto, Head of Corporate Recruitment, Mr. Gabriel Orendain,_x000D_ Head of ABS -CBN University and Ms. Cedie Vargas, Head of Logistics.
The delegation of FPH was headed by none other than Mr._x000D_ Francis Giles Puno, President and COO. Together with him were Mr. Jajo Quinto,_x000D_ Sr. Vice President and, Ms. Anna Karina Gerochi, Vice President of HR. Dr._x000D_ Elizabeth Lahoz, President of TIP, also came with the rest of TIP’s executive committee_x000D_ members. She was joined by Mr. Dyke Lahoz, External Vice President, Mr. Angelo_x000D_ Lahoz, Associate Vice President, Dr. Cynthia Llanes, Vice President for_x000D_ Academic Affairs, Dr. Frank Alejandrino, Director of Career Center and Mr._x000D_ Deoji Villadolid, Consultant.
The MOA signing also served as a platform for each_x000D_ organization to share their insights about the partnership and to verbalize_x000D_ their commitment in developing a generation of highly capable and efficient_x000D_ workforce through cooperation activities. This intimate gathering ended with a_x000D_ brief networking and socialization among the executives.
