_x000D_ _x000D_ ABS-CBN recently_x000D_ hosted students and faculty from the Brigham Young University Hawaii (BYU). The_x000D_ visit from the University is part of their annual Career Connect trip – a_x000D_ program designed by BYU Hawaii’ Career Services Office which aims to bring_x000D_ group of students with career interests in a specific country and allow them to_x000D_ scout for prospective employers for either their internship or regular job_x000D_ requirements. _x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_
The students_x000D_ comprised of scholars from the Philippines who applied and went through the_x000D_ selection process of the scholarship program offered by BYU-Hawaii. I-WORK_x000D_ scholarship assists students from South Pacific and Far East with financial_x000D_ assistance so they can obtain quality education and at the end of their chosen_x000D_ courses, BYU-Career Services would initiate to connect their students with_x000D_ internship or employment opportunities in their home country. _x000D_ _x000D_
