For the Filipino community in North America, seeing the TFC Sama Saya announcements veritably heralds the start of a colorful summer in the region with star-studded events in partnership with different Filipino organizations in the U.S. and Canada. June being Philippine Independence Day month has always been the month when the calendar sizzles with weekend after weekend of events that animate and connect the community, reinforce growing Filipino presence and influence, engage TFC subscribers and fans with face-to-face interactions with their favorite celebrities, and celebrate the pride, heritage and the “galing ng Filipino” (greatness of the Filipino).
