Belonging to a broken home, young actor Jerome Ponce just found a constant company and a family in “Be Careful With My Heart.”

“My dad is a business-minded person, while my mom has done modeling. They met in a shooting project, and then they built a family with six children. But in the end, they separated,” he shares in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (Oct 9).

Jerome shares his family has not been together for a long time now, but he has found a new family in his fellow cast members in the hit daytime series.

“Before we start a taping, my co-stars and I always eat together. I often ask myself, ‘What if I am with my parents and siblings now, eating together, and talking about school?’” says Jerome.

Jerome’ love-interest in “Be Careful With My Heart” Shy Carlos, meanwhile, shares in the episode how she started in showbiz.

Shy became part of all-girl singing group Pop Girls led by Nadine Lustre, but found greater sucess in “Be Careful With My Heart.”

The “Tapatan Ni Tunying” episode also features comedienne Johanna “Kiray” Celis, who recalls the difficult life she and her family lived before.
