JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Manager oversees the establishment and regular reporting of financial information and other analytics relevant to the successful operation of AFI. He shall act as the lead in the financial planning, budgeting & forecasting processes. He shall also be the Deputy CFO.

• Oversee the budgeting & forecasting cycles and interface with all functional teams in this regard
• Monitor AFI’s and the functional teams’ performance versus financial & operating targets; recommend actions to address gaps
• Ensure the regular reporting of all relevant management information, and implement additional analytics, where appropriate
• In partnership with the CFO and the Regulatory Reporting & Accounting Head, determine additional policies that may be set up; and ensure the regular review & update of existing policies
• Act as the Deputy CFO
• Act as back-up to the Regulatory Reporting & Accounting Head in case of need
• Perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the Managing Director and/or the CFO

QUALIFICATIONS

• Accounting graduate – preferably a CPA
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role including managing people
• Self-starter and highly analytical
• Excellent communication skills
• Very familiar with Microsoft tools
