RESPONSIBILITIES

The Multimedia Designer uses graphic design, video editing, and web development software and web applications to create content News Digital Media and other Integrated News platforms.

The job includes creates infographics, art cards, thumbnails, advertising materials, animation and other multimedia executions that are used in various initiatives under News Digital and other Integrated News platforms.

• Design complex graphics using independent judgment and creativity through the use of computer equipment and software.
• Create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process, using computer animation or modeling programs.
• Apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to motion pictures to create storyboards that show the flow of the story and map out key scenes and characters.
• Create and apply titles and transitions on video stories.
• Create basic designs, drawings, and illustrations for web pages.
• Participate in design and production of multimedia executions, including but not limited to such responsibilities as production coordinator, scheduling, progress tracking and publishing.
• Work closely with Junior Video Producer and Senior Video Producer to determine the visual tone and graphics execution of video stories.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree to acquire essential technological skills and develop an artistic eye for detail.
• Should have knowledge of graphic, video, and animating software.
• Must have above average skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must stay updated with rapidly chaning trends and upgrades in technology to create designs and special effects for electronic media.
