The Shift Custodian Supervisor oversees the issuance and return, inventory, repair, preventive maintenance, scheduling, safety, and operational effectiveness of broadcast equipment and facilities. He/she coordinates with other departments to resolve issues, procure materials, and supervise/support assigned personnel.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of (at least) 2-year Technical Course (Electronic or Electrical) or Engineering degree
• At least 2 years of experience in TV News audio and video operations (having a lead role is an advantage)
• Knowledge in basic operations and proper handling of audio/video/lighting equipment
• Technical know-how on basic troubleshooting of audio/video broadcast equipment under his custody
• Knowledge on operation and setup of video and audio equipment such as teleprompter, surveillance camera, video monitors and microphones among others
• Can develop, implement and continue improvement on warehousing and inventory processes.
• Able to analyze technical problems and provide or recommend on the spot solution
• Able to research necessary equipment for facility upgrade
• Able to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
• Knowledge in various computer software applications (e.g. MS Excel,
• Word, Inventory/Warehouse/Resource management system, Internet etc.)
• Familiar with management policies and other work related procedures
