Description
The Social Media Writer extends the presence of the ABS-CBN News brand to social media platforms by creating and producing timely, relevant and engaging content that adheres to the ABS-CBN News brand of ethical, world-class, and reliable journalism.
He/She also assists in the execution of the editorial agenda of ABS-CBN News by breaking news on official social media accounts, writing captions for posts, publishing videos on social, monitoring news channels and sources and writing articles and producing multimedia content as assigned by senior news editors.
- Searches, gathers, creates, writes packages and publishes contenet for digital platforms.
- Helps grow and engage line communities by monitoring and maintaining social media accounts across various news ecosystems.
- Ensures that the digital presence Broadcast programs (microsite and other related products) are updated with the latest texts, videos and content from the mother TV news program of the microsite.
- Optimizing the reach of ABS-CBN News content by publishing posts on social media accounts in timely and egaging manner.
- Helps ensure quality of content by giving each article thorough check prior to social media promotion.
