General
1. Creates, organizes and maintains records of all new and existing Business Development projects and tasks and follows up regularly with relevant contacts to ensure progress toward completion.
2. Provides assistance in the management of ABS-CBN Music’s merchandise and assets, including
coordination with stakeholders in the development of products, such as collating input from team members, facilitating the transfer and editing of visual materials, administering the platforms used to market and sell, and coordinating with the Retail and Customer Support teams for operational needs.
3. Works closely with the ABS-CBN Music International and ABS-CBN Music Record Label teams in the product ideation, design, development, production and distribution of physical music products such as but not limited to CDs, Vinyl, Phygital items and any
other music-related products that may arise.
4. Establishes and nurtures internal and external relationships with partners
5. Attends meetings with internal stakeholders, prospective clients, and existing partners and provides proper documentation of topics covered, as may be assigned by the Head, Business Development.
6. Provides documentation and satisfies administrative requirements associated with projects assigned
7. Recommends improvements based on data analysis and customer feedback.
8. May be assigned to handle the upkeep of third-party platforms and services to fortify and expand the capabilities of ABS-CBN Music under the business development projects.
9. Performs other tasks assigned from time to time.
Business Development
1. Identifies, evaluates and recommends new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
2. Develops and implements strategies to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
3. Conducts market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
4. Builds and maintains relationships with various groups under ABS-CBN Music and key contacts and decision-makers in other LOBs to ensure implementation and completion of the assigned projects
5. Supports the development of business proposals, sales pitches, and presentations.
Distribution
1. Develops and oversees distribution strategies to ensure optimal product availability.
2. Collaborates with external suppliers to manage inventory and distribution networks.
3. Identifies and recommends to Management distributors/agents/channel partners in key markets.
4. Monitors distributor performance and ensures compliance with contracts and service level agreements.
5. Analyzes distribution data and works with the Retail and Procurement teams to optimize routes, delivery schedules, and cost efficiencies.
6. Coordinates with distribution partners to ensure operational efficiency in various tasks such as, but not limited to, transfer of assets, completion of contracts, and routing of payments.
