The TTSS Specialist is in-charge of transcription, translation, synopsis writing, and providing caption files in English for distribution and repurposing. Also handles the quality checking and caption file creation for ISD’s OTT requirements.

Content Repurposing

• Transcribe / caption original dialogue / audio of programs or video materials requested by clients
• In-charge of providing time codes for transcription and time-stamping for captions
• Writes synopses of different programs for VCD/DVD covers, online publishing, and other requirements
• Translates local programs/titles for English subtitles and/or dubbing
• Proofreads and quality checks synopses and translations prior to submission

Administrative Management

• Coordinates and meets with Superior for assignments, machine schedules and deadlines.
• Handles administrative tasks assigned by superior
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
• Customer Relations Management
• Attends to all queries & provides assistance to clients and ensures that customer feedbacks & complaints are monitored and addressed in order to continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system & to meet the requirements of clients

Policy and Procedure Development

• Determines and formulates preventive actions to eliminate causes of potential nonconformities of the section in order to prevent their occurrence

Policy and Procedure Implementation

• Complies with the implemented corrective actions to eliminate causes of nonconformities encountered by the section to prevent their recurrence
