Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Media Strategist plays a key role in driving ABS-CBN’s social media performance by providing data-informed strategies, platform insights, and operational support to internal teams and Lines of Business (LOBs). This role is responsible for developing strategic recommendations, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring smooth day-to-day social operations, and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to help achieve the social media KPIs.
- Create strategy decks (e.g., audits and strategic recommendations) for LOBs and internal clients to help them achieve their KPIs on social media, in support of the Social Media Head.
- Develop and maintain regular performance reports focused on LOB KPIs and content effectiveness.
- Monitor and track social media platform performance, identify trends and growth areas, and recommend actionable next steps to help achieve KPIs.
- Provide timely strategic and operational support for concerns raised by LOBs or internal teams. Manage and resolve all operational concerns related to social media, including content scheduling, access issues, platform bugs, and urgent internal requests, ensuring timely coordination with relevant teams and social media platform POCs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and LOBs on updates, concerns, and changes across social media platforms. Ensure LOBs are informed of the latest social media best practices, platform updates, and content formats.
- Conduct in-depth content performance analysis for audience insights and optimization.
- Explore and evaluate emerging social media platforms to identify those that align with ABS-CBN’s business and content goals.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize the use of social analytics and content scheduling tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of advertising, marketing, communications, or any related field
- At least 3-4 years experience in handling social media accounts for a client.
- Experience in using third party platform dashboards (e.g. Emplifi, Tubular, Meta Business Suite and others).
- Strong presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter), including platform-specific content formats, algorithms, and audience behavior.
- Strong data analytics background; able to interpret platform data to identify performance trends and recommend strategies.
- Fluent in Filipino and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to conduct audits, develop performance reports, and craft actionable strategic recommendations.
- Skilled at identifying audience/content patterns and translating them into social media strategies and tactics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and other presentation/reporting tools.
